Thanks to all the Market2Go customers and vendors and our amazing volunteers for making this expanded market such a success. In particular, your attention to our new pickup times has allowed us to improve our efficiency with less stress on staff and volunteers. Here is your market information for this week.

ORDER PROCESS. The Market2Go order process remains the same but with a few important reminders. Place your orders by midnight Tuesday for pickup/delivery on Thursday or Friday. Look for a confirmation email after you complete your order.

Please choose your pickup time/location from the drop-down menu before you check out. Some customers have said they missed it. But really, truly, the option is there, just before the payment step. Your selected location will be on your order verification.
Options are:

• Statesboro: Thursday afternoon at Uncle Shug’s on Main
• Statesboro: Friday morning at Uncle Shug’s on Main
• Sylvania: Thursday afternoon at Victory Garden General Store
• To Your Home Delivery (must add delivery to cart and prepay)

Please pay online to make our process more efficient and to better meet health guidelines. Register your debit or credit card at My Account and click “Pay Now” when you check out. Your card will only be charged after you have received your order, including any adjustments for missed items or other credits.

PICKUP PROCESS
Statesboro customers will have a choice of Thursday or Friday drive-through pickup at Uncle Shug’s on Main (434 South Main Street). Pickup hours will be reduced, but specific times will be determined to optimize traffic flow, based on customer orders and location choices. Watch for a Market UPDATE Wednesday night giving specific pickup times. Your attention to designated pickup times helps us make the process smooth and minimizes waiting for everyone.
If you’re using the drive-through pickup, please display a placard with your name.

Modified pickup time for Sylvania customers! Sylvania orders may be picked up in front of the Victory Gardens General Store at 124 W Telephone Street on Thursday afternoon from 3:45 to 5:15.

Home Delivery option. Statesboro and Bulloch County residents can have their orders delivered to their homes on Thursday afternoon by purchasing the item “Home Delivery” and selecting To Home Delivery in the drop-down location menu at checkout.

REMINDERS ABOUT THE DRIVE-THROUGH PROCEDURE

• Drive clockwise around the outermost perimeter, maintaining a tight queue, from the designated entrance to the front of the restaurant.
• A staff member will check you in as you come alongside the restaurant.
• Please display the name(s) for the order(s) you’re picking up on a windshield placard.
• Please wear a mask while communicating with market staff.
• Your order will be brought out to your vehicle from the main restaurant entrance as you wait.
• Provide access to your vehicle and to the containers you want loaded (bags, boxes, bins or coolers); e.g., unlock the back door or pop the trunk, with containers inside. We recommend that you bring a cooler for transporting meat, dairy and perishable items.
• Wait in your car for the runner to return with your order and load into your containers.
• If you did not prepay on line with a debit or credit card, please make a check for exact amount when your order is delivered. (You may pay cash in exact amount, but any “change” from cash received will be credited to your account. Use an envelope to label the cash payment with your order name.)

STATESBORO CUSTOMERS. During this period of high volume, we’re continuing to operate our Market2Go drive-through at Uncle Shug’s on Main (old RJ’s) at 434 South Main Street. Statesboro customers have a choice of Thursday or Friday pickups. Refer to the specific times and procedures below.

Designated THURSDAY pickup times for Statesboro. If you elected to pick up on Thursday, please arrive during the time slot assigned alphabetically by last name of customer order:

Last names A through L Pick up between 3:30 and 4:45
Last names M through Z Pick up between 4:45 and 6:00

FRIDAY pickup time for Statesboro. If you elected to pick up on Friday, please arrive between 10:00 and 11:45.

We want all our customers to be able to get their groceries. If you have a serious problem observing the assigned or selected time slots, or if your needs change as to date, please text 912.481.2263 with your order name and the time you can pick up your order, so we can adjust our planning.

SYLVANIA CUSTOMERS can pick up on Thursday in front of Victory Gardens General Store at 124 W Telephone Street. Please arrive between 4:30 and 5:30.

HOME DELIVERY OPTION. If you selected Home Delivery, your order will be brought to your home on Thursday afternoon. Boro Takeout will provide deliveries.

DRIVE-THROUGH Procedure

• Please arrive at UNCLE SHUG’S on Main within your designated time slot.
• Drive clockwise around the outermost perimeter, maintaining a tight queue, from the designated entrance to the front of the restaurant. Be polite, be patient, and follow the instructions of police or our market traffic volunteers.
• Show us your name: please display a placard with the name(s) of your order(s).
• A staff member will check you in as you come alongside the restaurant; please display the customer name(s) for the order(s) you’re picking up on a windshield placard:
