We are back from the holidays with lots of delicious summer fruits and vegetables like squash, zucchini, carrots, bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, sprouts, okra, potatoes, onions, garlic, blueberries, nectarines, and peaches!

Don’t miss the ice cream from Southern Swiss. There’s a wide variety of flavors of online made with local peaches, strawberries, and blueberries, as well as classic vanilla and chocolate!

We also have fresh herbs, honey, eggs, coffee, bread, milk, butter, cheese, seafood, shrimp, beef, pork, chevon, garden supplies, candles, soaps, lotions, as well as items that are already prepared and ready to eat, made from local ingredients.

Bootleg Farm and Southern Swiss Dairy both have their products online on Market2Go. They are no longer regulars at the Saturday Market, so look for them here!

Remember we have changed locations for our Statesboro pickup to the Statesboro Convention & Visitors Bureau at 222 S. Main St. Hours will remain the same, and our Sylvania pickup will remain the same at Victory Garden General Store.

We eliminated the annual membership fee – read about the changes here. To maintain support for the market, we added a surcharge of 7% on each order, beginning on March 1st.

Our Vendor of the week is Jacobs Produce, a family owned and operated farm in Rocky Ford. They are a long-time member of the farmers market with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables that can be found at their farm stand, the Saturday market and on Market2Go.

Visit the Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market this Saturday for Corny Days. Our Vendor of the week, Jacobs Produce, will have sweet corn at their booth! Also, free corn on the cob will be given out at the seasonal eating booth! Canning and freezing demos will be held at Ag South Kitchen across the street from the market with techniques for putting up sweet corn.

Market2Go is closed this week since the July 4th Independence Day holiday falls on a Thursday pick-up day. We will open again on Friday, July 5th.

Come to the Saturday market this weekend for a Market Picnic. Vendors will be offering a wide variety of picnic food – burgers, sausage, pizza, veggie sandwiches, empanadas, and shrimp skewers plus lots of sides and desserts.

There will be tables and chairs set up everywhere for you and your friends and family to enjoy a picnic at the market.

Our featured vendor this week is Ma’s Country Pantry, offering items made by several family-run Mennonite businesses near Metter. Their condiments, salsas, jams, dressings, and pickled vegetables can be found at the Saturday market and on Market2Go. There will be some samples of their items at the burger bar set up at the seasonal eating booth.

Our featured sponsor this week is Tillman, Brannen, and Minick , a locally owned Feed and Seed store in Statesboro. Stop by their store for rustic home decor, flowers, vegetables, bee supplies, animal care, hunting and fishing gear, clothes, boots and seasonal items.

We still have a small supply of Doug’s Wild Salmon 100% Sockeye Salmon burger meat. We will continue to have it for sale until we run out. Doug will be back in late Autumn to replenish our stock.

Chad at 4 & 20 Bakers is preparing a green-tomato surprise.

Our featured vendor this week is 24/7 House. They grow hydroponic tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, and strawberries in Baxley. Their proceeds go to help addicts in recovery. You can find their products at the Saturday Main Street Market and on Market2Go.

Visit the Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market this Saturday for Herb Day. Come celebrate and learn new ways to use these delicious herbs with our featured vendor this week, The Herb Lady. A longtime vendor at the market, Donna grows delicious herbs, nuts, and fruits in Brooklet. She will be offering her special herb butter on Sugar Magnolia baguettes at the market on Satuday, June 8th. Her herbs will be also be featured in Sugar Magnolia’s ice cream, lavender and blackberry with thyme.
