The lady behind E.L.F.’s Kitchen is Edith Lynn Deal Futch. She learned her baking skills when helping her father, Bunny Deal, run Deal’s Create-A-Cake and Bakery in College Plaza in the early 1980s. Some of the recipes that can be found in E.L.F.’s Kitchen are Bunny’s recipes. These incredible recipes include: Bear Claws, Nut and Fruit Cake, Pecan Timbles or Mini-Pies,and Challah bread. New recipes will include: Zucchini Loaf, Springerle Cookies, Lemon-Poppyseed loaf, whole wheat bread, and buttermilk pound cake. Hob Nobs (Honey, Oats, Butter (nut butter), Nuts, plus Other Bar) will be a nutritional powerbar that can be customized. Other offerings will be based on local seasonal ingredients such as strawberries, blueberries, and peaches.
