Lemon, Garlic, Shrimp, and Asparagus Stir Fry

An easy and healthy meal that can be prepared in about 20 minutes. Pairs well with rice or pasta. Please consider leaving a picture or comment if you decide to try this recipe!

Serves: 4

4 tablespoons Unsalted butter      View Available Products
1/2 teaspoon Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
4 Minced garlic cloves      View Available Products
1/4 cup Dry white wine
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Lemon zest
1 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Pepper
1 pound Chopped asparagus      View Available Products
1 pound Shrimp      View Available Products
1/2 cup Finely chopped basil      View Available Products
Additional herbs for seasoning if desired      View Available Products

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Heat the butter in a skillet until it completely melts and begins to brown. Add the red pepper flakes and garlic and saute for 1 minute.
  2. Pour in the white wine, stir and allow mixture to simmer. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper and cook for 2 minutes. Add asparagus and cook for 2 more minutes.
  3. Add the shrimp into the mixture and let it simmer for about 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in the basil. Remove from heat and add any additional seasoning if desired. Serve warm with rice or pasta.
