This unique sweet and spicy chutney can be enjoyed as a side, with chips as a dip, or as a sandwich spread. Please consider leaving a picture or comment if you decide to try this recipe!
Serves: 5 half pints
Step by Step Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a Dutch oven, and bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer uncovered for 45 minutes to an hour. Stir occasionally.
- While the mixture is still hot, spoon it into heated half pint jars. Leave a half inch head space in each, remove any air bubbles, wipe the jar rims, and adjust lids as needed.
- Process the jars in a boiling water canner for 10 minutes.
