Persimmon Chestnut Spice Cookies

Ingredients
1 teaspoon
Baking soda
1/2 teaspoon
Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon
Ginger
1/4 teaspoon
Nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon
Salt
1 cup
Sugar
1 cup
Dried cranberries
Step by Step Instructions
- Put the persimmons and the baking soda and puree. Set the mixture aside.
- Sift together the flour, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Set the mixture aside.
- Cream the butter and sugar together, mix in the egg and persimmon mixture, then stir in the flour mixture, and finally stir in the cranberries and chestnuts.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Scoop the cookies onto a cookie sheet covered with a silicone mat. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
