Turkey Curry

This easy to prepare meal uses the vegetables, turkey, and milk available from local farmers! Please consider leaving a picture or comment if you decide to try this recipe!

Serves: 4

1 cup Celery (sliced)
1/2 cup Carrots (sliced)      View Available Products
1 cup Milk      View Available Products
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
3/4 cup Chicken broth
2 cups Cooked turkey (diced)      View Available Products
2 tablespoons Dried onion (minced)      View Available Products
1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 to 4 teaspoons Curry powder
Cooked rice for serving

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Saute the celery and carrots in a coated skillet.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the cornstarch and 1/4 cup of milk and mix until smooth. Add the chicken broth and the rest of the milk and stir until the mixture is once again smooth.
  3. Pour the cornstarch mixture over the vegetables and bring it to a boil, cooking and stirring for 2 minutes. Add the turkey and seasonings and stir them in until the turkey has heated through.
  4. Serve with rice or bread.
