Strawberry Cream Floats

An ice cold seasonal treat that uses farm fresh strawberries and local dairy products! Please consider leaving a picture or comment if you decide to try this recipe!

Serves: 8

1 cup Heavy whipping cream      View Available Products
2 tablespoons Confectioners' sugar
6 cups Strawberries (frozen)      View Available Products
1 cup Sugar
1/3 cup Lime juice
2 cups Carbonated water (chilled)
4 cups Vanilla ice cream      View Available Products
Fresh strawberries (sliced, optional)      View Available Products

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Beat the heavy cream and confectioners' sugar together in a bowl until soft peaks form. Place in the refrigerator until serving.
  2. Puree the frozen strawberries, sugar, and lime juice in a blender. Press through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher, discard the seeds, and stir in the carbonated water.
  3. Distribute the ice cream among the 8 glasses and pour the strawberry soda over it. Top with the whipped cream and fresh sliced strawberries if desired.
