Rutabaga Fries

These homemade fries are a wonderful way to use locally grown rutabagas! Please note that while the recipe itself is vegan, some of the dipping suggestions may not be. Please consider leaving a picture or comment if you decide to try this recipe!

Serves: 4

1 Rutabaga (cut into spears)      View Available Products
2 tablespoons Olive oil      View Available Products
2 teaspoons Paprika
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Any other seasonings you may care to use      View Available Products
Condiments for dipping such as:
Ketchup      View Available Products
Sauces      View Available Products
Relish      View Available Products

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Gently toss the rutabaga spears with the oil and spices until they have been well coated. Lay out the spears on the prepared baking sheet, with a bit of space between each one.
  3. Bake the fries for 30 minutes, flipping the spears over after 15 minutes of cooking. Serve with condiments of choice for dipping.
