Leah McDonnell is a Brooklyn born growing enthusiast who started this project with the wish to recreate an “old school” traditional homestead. Leah uses regenerative practices like cover cropping, mulching, and composting to build soil and ultimately create great food for people, livestock, and critters. This homestead is a love letter to the land and is an experiment from a urban girl on building relationships with the earth and animals to build fully integrated regenerative systems. Leah hopes to inspire people to build their own relationship with the earth starting with a love for great food.
