
Fried Mahi Mahi

Ingredients
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon Mexican fiesta spice mix
- Salt & Pepper to preferance
- 1 or 2 Eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup Flour
- 2 Mahi Mahi fillets (cut into long strips)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
- Vegetable oil for frying
- SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha Sauce
- 2 teaspoons Lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons Soy sauce
Instructions
- 1Mix the breadcrumbs, Mexican seasoning, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Beat the eggs in a 2nd bowl. Pour the flour into a 3rd bowl.
- 2Cover the strips in flour, soak them in the egg mixture, then cover both sides with breadcrumb mixture.
- 3Heat the oil to 350 degrees and fry the strips in batches for 3 or 4 minutes on each side. Set the finished strips aside on a paper towel lined plate or wire rack to drain.
- 4Mix all of the sauce ingredients together, then serve the strips and sauce.
