The Market is Open!

Thanks for shopping with us and supporting your local farmers!

Keep the Farm to Table distance short – all of our vendors grow locally in Bulloch and nearby counties. Find delicious produce like field peas, peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, potatoes, onions, garlic, blueberries, squash, and zucchini.

Freeman’s Mill products are back on Market2Go! Find yellow and white cornmeal and grits locally Stone Ground on an R.D. Cole flat rock mill the old-fashioned way.

We also have fresh, local herbs, honey, eggs, coffee, bread, milk, butter, cheese, seafood, shrimp, beef, pork, chevon, garden supplies, candles, soaps, lotions, as well as items that are already prepared and ready to eat.

New vendor B&J Farms in Stillmore offers pasture raised poultry, the way nature intended on grass, bugs, and sunlight.

Bootleg Farm and Southern Swiss Dairy both have their products online on Market2Go. They are no longer regulars at the Saturday Market, so look for them here!

Did you know that Market2Go has items for your pets? You can find pet food, bones, Wagz Dog Treats, and pet grade raw goat milk from Bootleg Farm.

Remember we have changed locations for our Statesboro pickup to the Statesboro Convention & Visitors Bureau at 222 S. Main St. Hours will remain the same, and our Sylvania pickup will remain the same at Victory Garden General Store.

We eliminated the annual membership fee – read about the changes here. To maintain support for the market, we added a surcharge of 7% on each order, beginning on March 1st.

Our featured vendor this week is Kim’s Cheese Straws. Bursting with a super cheesy flavor, Kim’s Cheese Straws are a uniquely southern experience. Made by hand, these crispy snacks are prepared with the freshest and highest quality of ingredients. You can find their items at the Saturday Main Street Farmers Market.

Our featured sponsor this week is the Statesboro Convention & Visitors Bureau. The Statesboro Convention & Visitors Bureau is an accredited Regional Visitor Information Center and the official destination marketing organization for Statesboro and Bulloch County. The SCVB staff is dedicated to promoting tourism by attracting more visitors, meetings, groups, and events to the area through destination marketing. They also provide the space for our Market2Go pick-up on Thursdays!

Special Event – This Saturday, August 24th, the Main Street Farmers Market is Talking about Food! Food and farm activist LeeAnna Tatum will display her on-line magazine Southern Soil. Local food writer and chef Rebekah Lingenfelser will do a cooking demo with market produce and offer signed copies of her new book, Some Kinda Good, Good Food and Good Company, That’s What It’s All About.
