Remember to place your Market2Go order before midnight tonight.
We are back at the Statesboro Convention and Visitors Bureau (Visit Statesboro) at 222 South Main Street. All pickups are on Thursday afternoon. Sylvania pickups will still be across from the Victory Garden General Store and Home deliveries will continue as they’ve been.
There’s a mighty monstrous rattlesnake watermelon (an heirloom variety of watermelon) up for grabs from the garden of Ma’s Country Pantry, but you’ll need to act quickly to claim this mighty beast as there is only one left on the market. For a small fee they’ll draw a rattlesnake face on it as well.
For those of you who are craving the taste of some summer watermelon but are a bit less inclined to wrestle the actual massive melons we’ve got right now, be not afraid, J.R.’s Unique Jelly & Jam is offering watermelon jelly made from fruits of local gowers. As with all of his products, this jelly is made in small batches to ensure the highest possible quality.
We’re also thrilled to announce our newest vendor, Big Boy Cookies! Don’t miss your chance to show them some love this week by treating yourself to some of their delicious fresh cookies!
