Our extra virgin olive oil is produced on a small farm near Lyons, Georgia. We have been growing a selection of olive trees for 10 years using high density farming techniques. We have selected 5 varieties that produce well in our humid climate: 2 Greek, 2 Spanish and 1 Italian variety. The olives grow throughout summer and are then harvested and pressed in the fall. In 2014, we won a Gold Medal from the New York International Olive Oil Competition. Professional tasters describe our oil as having “Aromas of ripe fruit, green grass, dried fruit, banana and notes of herbs, tomato. Taste exhibits abundant fruitiness, green grass, sweetness, some bitterness, medium pungency and notes of butter, banana, with exceptional harmony, a high complexity and a high persistence.” The mild flavor pairs well with lighter dishes, cheese and fruit. Squish, Squeeze, Play, Wash and Rinse for Bubble Bath time fun! Soft and squishy like play dough, but turns bath time into a bubble retreat! Simply take a chunk of bubble dough into the bath and squish the dough under running water to produce bubble bath. Dough can also be rubbed directly on skin as a soap! The container comes with a variety ot 4 doughs to choose from at bath time. Fragrance choices are sweet orange, green apple, cherry and grape. Smells so fresh and fruity you may want to eat it- but please don’t. This dough is not edible and is for external use only. Use one chunk per bath and do not replace used dough back into container.

Aged Balsamic-18 years. Terra Dolce Farms is a small grower near Lyons, Georgia producing 100% Georgia Grown Olive Oil. In 2016, we partnered with a producer of balsamic vinegar near Modena, Italy, to offer this delightful accompaniment to our oil. Balsamic vinegar has a long history beginning in 1046 when the Holy Roman Emperor Henry III was given a bottle while passing through the province of Emilia-Romagna. Because balsamic vinegar can only be produced in this region, we have it imported regularly to our farm where we bottle it just for you. Balsamic vinegar is produced from the grape must of a sweet, late-harvest grape. It is cooked and then left to ferment anywhere from three weeks to 20 years in aging barrels. This process allows the producer to achieve a variety of flavors from simple to complex. Terra Dolce Farms Balsamic Vinegar is a customer favorite that has been aged 18 years using traditional Italian methods. It has a slightly sweet flavor, rich dark-brown appearance and nice viscosity suitable for drizzling over salads, vegetables, fruit and even ice cream. It also makes a terrific marinade for grilled meats. Our favorite way to enjoy it is with fresh, crusty bread alongside Terra Dolce Olive Oil.
