We also have fresh, local herbs, honey, eggs, coffee, bread, milk, butter, cheese, seafood, shrimp, beef, pork, chevon, garden supplies, candles, soaps, lotions, as well as items that are already prepared and ready to eat.

New vendor B&J Farms in Stillmore offers pasture raised poultry, the way nature intended on grass, bugs, and sunlight.

Bootleg Farm and Southern Swiss Dairy both have their products online on Market2Go. They are no longer regulars at the Saturday Market, so look for them here!

The Statesboro Convention & Visitors Bureau is an accredited Regional Visitor Information Center and the official destination marketing organization for Statesboro and Bulloch County. The SCVB staff is dedicated to promoting tourism by attracting more visitors, meetings, groups, and events to the area through destination marketing. They also provide the space for our Market2Go pick-up on Thursdays!

Special Event – This Saturday, August 24th, the Main Street Farmers Market is Talking about Food! Food and farm activist LeeAnna Tatum will display her on-line magazine Southern Soil. Local food writer and chef Rebekah Lingenfelser will do a cooking demo with market produce and offer signed copies of her new book, Some Kinda Good, Good Food and Good Company, That’s What It’s All About.

Our featured vendor this week is Poor Robin Gardens, a secluded small farm in Screven County that grows grows a bounty of beautiful vegtables and fruits, with a unique growing style that includes inter-planting of compatible crops in beds and containers set amidst shade trees. Also this Saturday, August 17th, local farmers can stop by the info booth at the Main Street Market to receive a Free Farmers’ Market Sticker and a $2 bonus on tokens purchased.
