Want to change your pickup time? The purpose of the time slots is to try to achieve an even flow so nobody has to wait too long. But we want this to be convenient for you: if you need to change your time slot or location, please text 912.481.2263, tell us the ORDER NAME and the TIME you would like to pick up. We will even assign you some “bonus time” if you need to come after 6:30. Just let us know so we can make sure your order is in the right place at the right time.
THE DRIVE-THROUGH PROCEDURE at the SCVB.
- Drive to the right (counter clockwise) all the way around the SCVB, keeping to the outer perimeter and maintaining a tight queue. A volunteer will check you in as you come around the far side of the building..
- Please display the name(s) for your order(s) on a windshield placard to assist in quick and safe check-in.
- Please wear a mask while communicating with market staff.
- Provide access to your vehicle and to the containers you want loaded (bags, boxes, bins or coolers); unlock the back door or the trunk, with containers inside.
- We recommend that you bring a cooler for transporting meat, dairy and perishable items. Ice cream melts, even in a short car trip, and our fresh non-homogenized milk is temperature sensitive.
- Wait in your car for the runner to come out with your order and load into your containers. Make sure your name placard is visible.
- If you did not prepay on line with a debit or credit card, please make a check for exact amount when your order is delivered. (You may pay cash in exact amount, but any “change” from cash received will be credited to your account. Use an envelope to label the cash payment with your order name.)
Order Before Midnight!
Remember to place your Market2Go order before midnight tonight.
Get ready to fire up the grill this fourth of July, because Market2Go has got everything you need to create a menu that’s sure to have something for everyone!
We’ve got steak, sausage, chicken, shrimp, ribs, and pre-made patties as well as regular ground beef packs. Don’t forget to grab some BBQ sauce, ketchup, and pickles from Ma’s Country Pantry while you’re at it!
Prefer grilled vegetables? No worries! Just get yourself some sweet corn, eggplants, zucchini, or a mushroom medley bag.
Speaking of mushrooms, they’re just one of the many great burger toppings and salad accompaniments available. We’ve also got tomatoes, bacon, lettuce, onions, cucumbers, bell peppers, and jalapenos.
Try these recipes for Grilled Eggplant or a Market Burger.
We’ve even got dessert covered! You can pick from Southern Swiss’s eight different flavors of ice cream, snag some Blueberry Delite from Cakes by Rosie, or get yourself a bag of caramel corn from Cork’s Kettle Corn to snack on while you watch the fireworks.

This week! It’s summer in the South, and we’re celebrating the joys of fresh sweet corn and tomatoes and watermelons and butterbeans. We’ve got local everything — tons of seasonal produce; meats from five vendors; eggs from free-range chicken; dairy from contented cows (and goats!); homemade food from your favorite cooks and bakers; and beautiful products crafted by local artisans.
This week we’ve added locally made Big Boy Cookies to our product list. And H.L. Franklin has introduced a gift basket that showcases products from four popular market vendors — Hunter Cattle beef jerky, Cork’s Kettle Corn, and Kim’s Cheese Straws as well as Franklin’s own creamed honey. We recently added a special category of Statesboro-themed gift items from our supporting partner, Visit Statesboro. Sales will benefit our market host, the Statesboro Convention and Visitors Bureau.

There’s a mighty monstrous rattlesnake watermelon (an heirloom variety of watermelon) up for grabs from the garden of Ma’s Country Pantry, but you’ll need to act quickly to claim this mighty beast as there is only one left on the market. For a small fee they’ll draw a rattlesnake face on it as well.
For those of you who are craving the taste of some summer watermelon but are a bit less inclined to wrestle the actual massive melons we’ve got right now, be not afraid, J.R.’s Unique Jelly & Jam is offering watermelon jelly made from fruits of local gowers. As with all of his products, this jelly is made in small batches to ensure the highest possible quality.
We’re also thrilled to announce our newest vendor, Big Boy Cookies! Don’t miss your chance to show them some love this week by treating yourself to some of their delicious fresh cookies!
Thank you for supporting your local farmers and vendors!
