Just added in time for summer – Southern Swiss has a variety of flavors of ice cream online – made with local peaches, strawberries, and blueberries, as well as classic vanilla and chocolate!
Market2Go has a variety of summer vegetables and fruits this week – squash, zucchini, carrots, bell peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, sprouts, okra, potatoes, onions, blueberries, and strawberries and blackberries.
We also have fresh herbs, honey, eggs, coffee, bread, milk, butter, cheese, seafood, shrimp, beef, pork, chevon, garden supplies, native plants, candles, soaps, lotions, as well as items that are already prepared and ready to eat, made from local ingredients.

We still have a small supply of Doug’s Wild Salmon 100% Sockeye Salmon burger meat. We will continue to have it for sale until we run out. Doug will be back in late Autumn to replenish our stock.
Remember we have changed locations for our Statesboro pickup to the Statesboro Convention & Visitors Bureau at 222 S. Main St. Hours will remain the same, and our Sylvania pickup will remain the same at Victory Garden General Store.

Visit the Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market this Saturday for Herb Day. Come celebrate and learn new ways to use these delicious herbs with our featured vendor this week, The Herb Lady. A longtime vendor at the market, Donna grows delicious herbs, nuts, and fruits in Brooklet. She will be offering her special herb butter on Sugar Magnolia baguettes at the market on Satuday, June 8th. Her herbs will be also be featured in Sugar Magnolia’s ice cream, lavender and blackberry with thyme.

Visit the Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market this Saturday for Berry Fest. Come celebrate local blueberries and blackberries. We’ll have local blueberries and blackberries from Berry Organic Farm and Jacobs Produce, blackberries from Ogeechee Peaches and some more berries from vendor fields and back yards. Stop by the Seasonal Eating Booth to learn how to make a Berry “Shrub” – a refreshing drink made with fruit, vinegar and sugar!
Our featured vendor this week is Berry Organic Farms. Jason Berry and his son Chelden will be at the Main Street Market on Saturday June 1st. Come celebrate and sample local organic blueberries and blackberries with them. Jason is large-scale organic farmer in Vidalia who used to be a regular at this market. He mostly sells now through an organic cooperative called Hippie Organics.

Visit the Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market this Saturday for a Memorial Day Weekend picnic. The seasonal eating booth will have samples of your favorite picnic staples as well as some new picnic dishes to try with recipes you can make from market items.
Our featured vendor this week is Hunter Cattle, one of the market’s founding members. They offer grass-fed beef, pasture-raised pork, jerky, and seasonal vegetables. Several of their items have won Flavor of Georgia awards and can be found at the Saturday Market, on Market2Go, and at MooMa’s Farm Store in Brooklet. They will be giving away packs of sausages to veterans with Military ID at the Saturday Market on May 25th.

Visit the Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market this Saturday for some Plum Good Eating. Marcus Toole will be at the Market giving out plums, giving general information about plums, and how to grow them here in South Georgia
Our featured vendor this week is B&G Honey Farm, a local honey farm in Register since 1989. They have pure, raw wildflower honey that can be found at the Saturday market, on Market2Go, and at their honey shack at 945 Sinkhole Road in Register. They will have their bees with an observation hive at the Saturday market on May 18th. Come watch the bees!
