Thanks to all of our Market2Go customers, vendors, and wonderful volunteers for helping us make a smooth transition back to the Statesboro Convention and Visitors Bureau. Thanks also to the SCVB staff and board for providing us with a new operational base.

ORDER PROCESS. Place your orders by midnight Tuesday for pickup/delivery on Thursday afternoon. There will be no Friday pickup this week.

Please choose your pickup location from the drop-down menu before you check out. The option is there, just above the “Pay Now” box. Your selected location will be on your order verification.
Options are

• Statesboro: Thursday afternoon at SCVB
• Sylvania: Thursday afternoon at Victory Garden General Store
• To Your Home Delivery (must add delivery to cart and prepay)

Please pay online to make our process more efficient and to better meet health guidelines. Register your debit or credit card at Your Account and click “Pay Now” when you check out. Your card will only be charged after you have received your order, including any adjustments for missed items or other credits.

PICKUP PROCESS

Statesboro customers can pick up orders on Thursday only in drive-through at the Statesboro Convention and Visitors Bureau (SCVB). Drive-through hours will be from 3:30 to 7:00, with specific time slots designated by order name. Watch for a Market UPDATE Wednesday night giving specific pickup times.

If you’re using the drive-through, please display a placard with your name.

We recommend that all customers bring cooler(s) or insulated bag(s) with cool packs inside to keep food fresh and safe, especially any meat, seafood or dairy items.

Modified pickup time for Sylvania customers! Pickup times in Sylvania have recently changed: Sylvania orders may be picked up in front of the Victory Gardens General Store at 124 W Telephone Street on Thursday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:00.
We recommend that all customers bring cooler(s) or insulated bag(s) with cool packs inside to keep food fresh and safe, especially any meat, seafood or dairy items.

Home Delivery option. Statesboro and Bulloch County residents can have their orders delivered to their homes on Thursday afternoon by purchasing the item “Home Delivery” and selecting “To Your Home Delivery” in the drop-down location menu at checkout.

Important information for Home Delivery Customers. Your home delivery is made through a partnership with Boro Takeout. You will receive a notice when the delivery driver is on the way. We recommend that Home Delivery customers who want their orders “dropped”, should leave a cooler with cool packs at the front door or designated drop-off location. Tell us if you’d like a free Market2Go sticker to label your cooler.

Want to change your pickup time? The purpose of the time slots is to try to achieve an even flow so nobody has to wait too long. But we want this to be convenient for you. If you need to change your time slot or location, please text 912.481.2263, tell us the ORDER NAME and the TIME you would like to pick up. That way we can make sure your order is in the right place at the right time.

THE DRIVE-THROUGH PROCEDURE at the SCVB.

• Drive counter clockwise all the way around the SCVB, keeping to the outer perimeter and maintaining a tight queue. A volunteer will check you in as you come around the back of the building..
• Please display the name(s) for your order(s) on a windshield placard to assist in quick and safe check-in.
• Please wear a mask while communicating with market staff.
• Provide access to your vehicle and to the containers you want loaded (bags, boxes, bins or coolers); e.g., unlock the back door or pop the trunk, with containers inside.
• We recommend that you bring a cooler for transporting meat, dairy and perishable items. Ice cream melts, even in a short car trip, and our fresh non-homogenized milk is temperature sensitive.
• Wait in your car for the runner to come out with your order and load into your containers. Make sure your name placard is visible.
• If you did not prepay on line with a debit or credit card, please make a check for exact amount when your order is delivered. (You may pay cash in exact amount, but any “change” from cash received will be credited to your account. Use an envelope to label the cash payment with your order name.)

Just Added!

This week has brought lots of great new products to Market2Go!

First off we’re thrilled to announce that Barrow Woodworks, a long time Saturday market favorite, has joined the online market and is offering his marvelous handmade wooden cutting boards, puzzles, chess sets, and clocks!

Next up we have three new vegetables for sale from Poor Robin Gardens. Whether you’d rather feel the heat with Ricardo’s fresh jalapeños, cool down with a long green cucumber, or enjoy a classic southern dinner with his new green beans, there’s definitely something here to suit all tastes.

Don’t miss out on this year’s chance to try some sweet Vanilla Peach Jam from J.R.’s Unique Jelly & Jam! Since it’s made in small batches from the first crop of peaches from Ogeechee Peaches it’s understandably a very limited edition product.

There’s a brand new vendor joining Market2Go, so please join us in welcoming Fluffelle, who’s selling both a cool new soap called Farmhouse Sink, and a lavender and vanilla scented room spray (a welcome novelty given how homebound most of us are at the moment!) Both handmade in Statesboro.

And finally, there’s some big news from Southern Soaked, who’s got a batch of new products as well! This long-awaited body butter has a whipped fluffy texture, is made with natural ingredients and comes in three alluring scents: a zesty citrus, a powerful eucalyptus mint combo, and a sweet lavender vanilla mixture.

We want to extend a very special thanks this week to Liz and Stacy Underwood for hosting our Statesboro drive-through pickup at Uncle Shug’s on Main, allowing us the space and the infrastructure to expand and redefine our Market2Go operation. More than a host, Liz has worked every market shift in those ten weeks and added great ideas to the process. This coming week will be our 10th and last week at Uncle Shug’s, after which we will be moving to our own facility. (Stay tuned for more information!)
